Questions before you choose a plan.
Do I need a paid plan to file?
No. You can file without us. What you cannot do is file honestly unless your website actually conforms. The free scan shows you where you stand. The Audit plan gives you the criterion-by-criterion record that documents what was found, what was fixed and what remains, which is the evidence of due diligence a follow-up audit would ask for.
Is an automated scan enough to prove compliance?
No tool catches everything, and anyone who tells you otherwise is selling you something. Automated testing reliably covers the machine-testable criteria. Our AI second pass extends that to judgment calls like whether alt text is actually meaningful and whether content reads in a logical order. For full assurance, add a manual expert audit. Our report states plainly what was tested automatically, what was reviewed by AI and what was not covered. That honesty is what makes it defensible.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Audit is a single one-time payment per site. Remediate is a subscription you can cancel at any time. Enterprise engagements are scoped and quoted before any work begins, with no surprise charges.
What if my site is larger than the page limit?
Audit covers up to 250 pages and Remediate up to 500. Beyond that, add 100 pages for $149, or move to an Enterprise engagement where we scope against your real page count. Tell us your URL and we will tell you your page count before you pay anything.
What happens to my data after the scan?
Your compliance report is downloadable and yours permanently. The visual issue view is a stored snapshot of your pages, and it is automatically deleted after 7 days on Free and 90 days on Audit. Everything is encrypted, stored in Canada and never used to train a model. We email you at day 75 and day 85 before anything expires.
Why does the visual issue view expire?
Because keeping a copy of your website longer than we need it is a security risk, not a feature. Holding only what is necessary and deleting the rest on a fixed schedule is a requirement under Canadian privacy law and a control we can demonstrate to your auditor. Your report, which is the artifact you actually file with, never expires.
Do I have to pay again to see results I already bought?
Never. The report is yours to download and keep forever. Only the interactive view expires, and the highlighted screenshots are embedded in the PDF so you keep the visual evidence either way.
We already have an accessibility overlay widget. Do we still need this?
Yes. An overlay is a script bolted onto your site. It does not change your source code, which means the underlying criteria still fail. AODA obligations attach to your actual website, and regulators and courts have not been persuaded by window dressing.
Can I keep using Access Proof AI after I file?
Yes, and most organizations should. AODA reporting is a recurring cycle, and accessibility regressions ship with ordinary content updates and deploys. Remediate keeps scanning, alerts your web team within minutes of a new issue and keeps your evidence current for the next filing.
Do you offer public-sector or agency terms?
Yes. Public-sector bodies get 12-month evidence retention, procurement-friendly invoicing and a security review pack on request. Agencies get a multi-site dashboard, white-label reports and volume pricing above five sites. Book a call and we will put it in writing.
